For the first time ever, The Rustic Craftsman will be an exhibitor at the famous Surf EXPO in Orlando, Florida, on September 8-10th, 2022. (Booth #2265) We are looking forward to bringing a great collection of our best selling ocean boards, serving trays, and the latest - our Hardwood Surfboards, to show buyers from all over the world.

As a young 20-something, raised in Florida, the EXPO was considered the height of all things cool in the surf and skate world. Not only would our favorite companies be showing and releasing the newest surf and skate gear and hottest clothes for the next season, but you could meet some of the athletes, mingle with the crews from all of the big surf brands, and if you were lucky, you'd come home with a bag full of stickers and free koozies. A teenage kids' dream, right?
While we're not there just to look and snag free stickers anymore, we're still pretty stoked about being a player in this year's show.
We're expecting to see and shake hands with some of the biggest names in the surf and resort industry as well. (Think Ritz Carlton and Disney Cruise lines for example.) Names like Volcom, will have live music playing while the biggest fashion brands show the season's hottest new looks in a live fashion show. Teams will compete from all over the country in the "Shop Battle & Banger 4 Bucks at Surf Expo," contest, put on by Instaramp, and names like Costa Del Mar, Tommy Bahama, Rusty, and YETI will all show up in force to give us a first look at what's coming for 2023!

Our goal for being there is to bring our unique, handmade products to a boutique or shop closer to you! Imagine strolling through your favorite boutique in Watercolor Beach, or vacationing in Saint Lucia and finding a one-of-a-kind RC ocean board to bring home as a souvenir from that unforgettable vacation.
That is the heart of our business. Providing our customers with handmade, one-of-a-kind gifts, that elicit memories of beautiful sandy beaches and gently crashing waves. To be your purveyor of unique pieces that give you a reason to reminisce, but also to gather, graze, and create new memories with your friends and loved ones.
We're expecting some amazing energy from this show to help us ride a wave right into 2023.
Holiday Prepping
And while this particular show will show off our goods to retailers across the world, behind the scenes, we are quickly ramping up our "making" to bring you lots of amazing products at this years Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market, as well as the Junior League of Austin's "A Christmas Affair" Nutcracker Market.
That's right, folks, we are entering our busiest time of the year and we are super excited to bring our products closer to you than ever before!
